And here’s how the raffle’s going to work on the night:
1. You’ll take your credit or debit card of choice and take it to the nearest cash machine
2. Punch in your PIN number and take out a wad of cash
3. Bring the wad of cash along to @LDNTwestival with the intention of buying a shed load of raffle tickets
4. Buy a shed load of raffle tickets
5. We’ll write your Twitter username on the back of every ticket you buy (you’ll see why in a minute)
6. Half way through the night, just after everyone’s had a bit to drink and can really get into it but just before everyone’s too drunk to read the numbers on their tickets, we’ll draw the tickets for each prize in the raffle
7. Every time a ticket is drawn, we’ll project the Twitter username onto the wall and shout it out loud so you’ll have the best chance of hearing that you’ve won
8. You’ll then have 5 minutes to collect your prize from us. Otherwise, it goes back into the raffle.
Tickets for the raffle will cost £2 a pop, or £10 for 6 tickets, with ALL proceeds going directly to charity:water projects.
Even if you don’t win on the night, there’s no reason to feel down - we’ll all be winners because every bit of money raised is going to a fantastic cause - charity:water.
We’re still looking for a few more prizes to really boost the raffle ticket sales on the evening, so if you have a worthy prize please leave a comment on this post or get in touch with @benrmatthews or @timhoang.
